Noise Series
Painting - 2012
What started as remembrance of the confident strength the outdoors gave me, sharply turned inward towards isolation and paranoia at the turn of a leaf.
My Braintree series began degrading into memorials of the outdoors and its strength, instead of a celebration of it. The paintings began to shed their leaves, as autumn: towards a personal winter.
While Braintree was a memory of one kind, Noise was a memory of another.
